Tell us a bit about Pedal + Tread.
We are a husband and wife team: half English, half Swedish based in London. We're an online shop selling a unique assortment of considered essentials (products) inspired by cycling, travel and outdoor adventures, or as we like to say, fresh air living.
What's so special about your products? Any particular favourites?
All our products have a real purpose, a genuine feel of quality, and a true sense of value. They also look as good in hand outdoors as they do on a shelf at home. We bring together products that are manufactured with advanced techniques and others that are handmade and beautifully crafted. We feel itʼs equally important to support the development of modern day production, as it is to ensure traditional handcraft skills are savoured and not forgotten for generations to come.
We love the Reflect bottle by Klean Kanteen because it sums up everything we stand behind; an independent company making beautifully designed and crafted products that have pure functionality, while improving consumer habits to help protect the environment around us.

What inspires you?
Our passion for riding bikes, our travels around the world and of course our love of being outdoors and surrounded by nature. We're also inspired by Nordic countries' culture and desire for the outdoors and making the most of it in all seasons, from cross country skiing trips in winter, wood cutting in spring time, backpacking, camping and hiking in summer to foraging in autumn.
